The sun shines weekly
Weakly
Summer reluctant to don
The small bikini
On blanched, exposed limbs.
She procrastinates
Fails to buy tickets,
Pack her beach bag
Nostalgic for days
Of shorter duration
Longer rests
By the fireside.

I was at Butchart Gardens this morning and that flower rivals anything we saw.
